Job Title: Cleanroom Technician Location: Grimes IA Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant to support our high-tech seed handling and packaging team. The ideal candidate will assist with multiple equipment operations and ensure the smooth flow of processes within the warehouse. Responsibilities Safely operate high-tech warehouse equipment such as automated packaging and retrieval systems and conveyor systems. Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing seed products, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, and reporting discrepancies. Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are securely packed and accurately labeled. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Carry out seed treatments, including chemical treatments, drying, and seed conditioning. Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Understand 5S principles and regularly clean work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Essential Skills Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Familiarity with automated warehouse systems and robotics. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs as required. Strong attention to detail. Flexibility to work extended days and weekends at critical times of the season. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of experience preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility spans 250,000 square feet and is a new, three-year-old, temperature-controlled environment with state-of-the-art automation. Ergonomics are prioritized, with adjustable tables, cushioned mats, and chairs available in various departments. The facility features a clean and comfortable break room and lockers for personal belongings. The dress code is casual, allowing for tennis shoes, jeans, leggings, sweatpants, crew neck sweatshirts, t-shirts, or long sleeves. Safety glasses and lab coats are provided in certain areas. The work is largely independent, allowing you to listen to music with one headphone. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with overtime during the busiest season from January to the end of April or early May. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grimes, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
