Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care using the full nursing process Float across multiple campuses/units to support Med Surg patient care needs Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions accurately and timely Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes Support performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities Apply evidence-based practices to enhance quality, safety, and patient satisfaction Mentor and precept fellow nurses, fostering professional growth Participate in research, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives Ensure efficient utilization of resources to support patient flow and reduce readmissions Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key skills; Strong knowledge and application of the nursing process (assessment through evaluation) Minimum 2+ years recent Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team collaboration and relationship-building abilities Time management and prioritization skills Computer proficiency and data entry experience Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred) Knowledge of evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Active RN License (Single State or Multi-State Compact) Current BLS (AHA) certification ACLS certification required National Specialty Certification (preferred) Minimum 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience Computer data entry experience required Experience with Epic and 3M systems preferred Ability to work full-time day shifts in a float team capacity Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar fulltime positions.
