Job Description: Pay: $70,000-$80,000 per year average Schedule/Hours: Sunday Night-Thursday Night, dispatching between 3pm-5pm Medical, Dental & Vision benefits day 1! Position Purpose: As an essential part of the nation's food supply chain, our delivery drivers ensure that customers receive their products safely, on time, and in excellent condition. The Shuttle Driver is crucial in transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to designated shuttle yard locations efficiently and safely, complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conducts safety checks and inspections of all vehicles according to DOT regulations. Reports any safety issues or required repairs immediately. Follows all DOT regulations and company safety driving policies, ensuring that all freight is properly loaded and secured. Ensures all necessary paperwork is available and correctly handled. Drives per a predetermined route schedule and performs hook/unhook procedures safely. Maintains cleanliness and order in the tractor, loading dock, and trailers as necessary. Completes daily records in accordance with Federal DOT and company requirements. Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment. Performs additional duties as assigned to support team efforts. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. At least 12 months of commercial driving experience. Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement. Must be at least 21 years old. Meets all state licensing and certification requirements as applicable. Maintains a Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Willing to work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights. Passes pre-employment drug test and road test. Possesses a valid DOT Health Card or able to secure a new one. Able to handle and utilize equipment to move and stack freight of varying weights, generally between 60 to 90 pounds.
