The Manager of Network Operations Center plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations and activities of the Network Operations Center (NOC), driving the success of the company’s initiatives. This position involves managing NOC processes and operations, collaborating closely with IT and external service provider teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance with IT policies. You will continually enhance service delivery and work alongside stakeholders to align programs with customer satisfaction goals. Key Responsibilities Lead daily Network Operations Center activities to ensure exceptional service delivery. Effectively manage workflows and standard operational procedures within the NOC. Coordinate and collaborate with various IT departments and service providers for seamless operations. Monitor and evaluate network infrastructure and overall system performance consistently. Guarantee adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high performance standards. Initiate and promote continuous improvement initiatives across NOC services. Provide technical guidance, address escalated issues, and ensure effective resolution. Regularly report NOC performance metrics to senior management to inform strategic decisions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Over 8 years of experience in service delivery management or NOC operations. At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating effective management capabilities. Strong understanding of service delivery principles and operational best practices. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in ITSM platforms and network monitoring tools. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and facilitation skills. Experience with federal IT operations and compliance regulations is highly desirable. Job Specific Skills Management of Network Operations Center activities. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Splunk. Knowledge of federal IT environments and underpinning compliance standards. Experience managing multi-site operations for enhanced coordination. Compensation Ranges Compensation for this role varies based on factors including location, skill set, education, and years of experience.
