Van Driver / Transportation Assistant

Amoroso Woodridge is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and compassionate Van Driver for our skilled nursing facility in Harrisburg, PA. This is a FULL-TIME position, every other weekend. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of our residents to doctors' appointments, outings, or other destinations. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for serving older persons and persons with disabilities. The hours are normally 8:30- 4:30 but could be changed based on transportation needs. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent desired. Clean driving record. Ability to commute or relocate to the Harrisburg Area. Must be dependable and punctual. CNA certification preferred but not required. Long Term Care experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities Transport residents to and from doctors' appointments and outings. Ensure the residents are safe and comfortable during transportation. Maintain a clean driving record during employment. Crossed trained in other ancillary departments for the ability to fill in when no transportation needs are scheduled.
