We are currently seeking an experienced Manager of SAP Pricing to lead our Pharmaceutical IT team. In this critical role, you will oversee the SAP Pricing functional and technical resources, ensuring the successful delivery and maintenance of our Pharma SAP Pricing functions, including current applications and new business expansions. Key Responsibilities Lead the execution, management, and support of SAP Pricing functions within the Pharma landscape. Facilitate and guide design workshops, leveraging industry best practices and application experience for effective planning and sequencing. Manage complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, validating results from team members, ensuring all deviations from standard functionality are justified and valuable. Stay current with emerging technologies and evolving business processes. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Provide leadership during problem-solving and crisis management scenarios. Oversee solution leadership, organizing, and management of projects. Take ownership of defect resolutions, enhancements, and new project developments. Partner with functional teams to prepare proposals, provide effort estimates, and deliver solutions that drive value. Collaborate with other process leaders (OTC, PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure cohesive solutions that do not negatively impact cross-functional processes or applications. Monitor and ensure that all critical processes are properly managed and automated to reduce incidents. Execute on strategic directions set by leadership and prioritize goals effectively. Work closely with infrastructure teams to maintain reliable and stable operations. Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and addressing Audit findings related to Revenue Management applications. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred. 8-12 years of experience in SAP is required. 5+ years of experience leading software development teams both onshore and offshore is preferred. 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in SAP Pricing, Integration Technologies, or similar, with an emphasis on Test-Driven Development. Knowledge of Vistex is preferred. Experience with SAP S/4 is preferred. Strong project management skills, with an understanding of financial management, are preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire teams and build strong client relationships are essential. Business acumen in the pharmaceutical wholesale distribution sector is preferred. Expectations for this Role Manage department operations and oversee professional staff, including front-line supervisors and business support staff. Participate in developing and implementing policies and procedures to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with operational guidelines. Make decisions that impact work processes and client outcomes. Engage with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels. Facilitate consensus among stakeholders involved in operations and projects. Compensation and Benefits Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $193,930. Bonus eligible.
