A Day in the Life as a Class A Truck Driver: Enjoy the comfort of being home every night! Your day typically starts around 7:00 AM and wraps up by approximately 4:30 PM, with generally no weekend work (exact hours may vary by location). Responsibilities: Uphold our mission statement in all actions. Serve as a front-line representative for Lansing by providing exceptional customer service. Balance time between making deliveries and supporting warehouse operations. Utilize a moffett forklift for deliveries. Engage with customers and/or crews at job sites. Continuously seek to enhance the level of service provided to every customer. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Be prepared to assist with additional tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and inside sales as needed. Qualifications: Valid CDL A license is required. Clean driving record with no violations. Experience operating a moffett forklift is mandatory. Ability to work independently with efficiency while contributing to a team. Physical capability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds. Familiarity with building products is a significant plus. Demonstrated strong customer service skills, integrity, and a positive attitude. A minimum of one year of driving experience is needed. Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck are preferred.
