At Align Aerospace, we do more than just distribute aerospace fasteners; we ensure the safety of aircraft, crews, and passengers worldwide. We are seeking a seasoned Final Quality Inspector ready to take ownership of final release decisions for crucial aerospace components. This is a role requiring accountability, expertise, and impact. Your Role: The Final Gatekeeper As our Skilled Final Inspector, you will be the last checkpoint for technical quality before parts are dispatched to customers in the aerospace industry. You will independently: Inspect First Articles (FAIs) in accordance with AS9100 standards Interpret detailed engineering drawings and apply advanced GD&T Examine high-precision aerospace fasteners and components Review Certificates of Conformance, test reports, and material certifications Make final acceptance or rejection decisions based on regulatory compliance Document findings in SAP and maintain quality records that are ready for audits Assist and guide junior inspectors to enhance team skills You will consistently handle a substantial inspection workload, ensuring meticulous accuracy. This position is for a confident individual who can make technical decisions independently. You'll validate components to the industry's most stringent standards—AS9102, ISO 9001, and customer specifications. Each part you approve contributes to the safety of pilots, passengers, and the continuity of global flight.
