Specialty Deposits Team Manager WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? We are seeking a driven Specialty Deposits Team Manager to lead a talented group of Relationship Managers. In partnership with upper management, you will strategize to enhance sales management and relationship-building initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability without compromising credit quality. This role involves overseeing the complete sales process, from acquiring new clients to fostering relationships and driving retention. By engaging actively in community activities and establishing strong connections within the Bank, you will create and nurture valuable business opportunities. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Lead a team of Specialty Deposits Relationship Managers, collaboratively crafting sales strategies to boost team profitability while ensuring adherence to credit standards. Forge New Deposit Relationships: Develop tailor-made Relationship Plans and calling schedules for clients. Identify growth opportunities and encourage referrals for Treasury Services or other Bank offerings from existing customers and professional networks. Engage with existing and potential clients to promote Treasury Services and other financial products, fostering a holistic banking relationship. Provide insights on business conditions and help forecast clients' Treasury Services and credit requirements. Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements as part of your role; ensure proposed deals comply with Bank guidelines. Collaborate with team leaders and managers on transaction proposals. Uphold Bank policies and regulatory requirements, exercising sound judgment in credit approvals and ensuring the quality of business introduced to the Bank. Actively represent the Bank in civic and community engagements, participating in industry-related events to effectively market services. Collaborate with other Bank departments, defining responsibilities and objectives across product lines to resolve client needs and internal challenges. Maintain and update client relationships and activity records. Analyze results and account activities to recommend actions based on client profitability. Monitor portfolio health, risk, and policy adherence, working with necessary staff to address issues. Stay informed about competitive products, market conditions, and industry practices. Identify and analyze problem areas, working with clients to develop solutions that minimize risk exposure. Manage portfolios with multiple accounts, ensuring operational efficiency aligns with client needs and maximizes cross-selling potential. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications At least 8 years of experience in Treasury Services / Treasury Management (Cash Management) sales within the financial services sector. A minimum of 10 years in supervisory or managerial roles. Additional Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience managing Treasury Services clients/portfolios. Comprehensive understanding of all Treasury Services products and their applicability to targeted client segments. Expert knowledge of Treasury Services policies, Bank operations, and procedures. Proven sales and marketing expertise. Strong credit analysis and accounting skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Capacity to autonomously make sound business decisions and exercise appropriate authority based on experience and responsibility. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting salary range: $122,535 - $208,715 annually, with variability based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and commissions.
