Job Summary Stratascale is on the lookout for a talented Security Engineer Consultant who possesses extensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks XSIAM to join our dynamic Managed Architecture SIEM team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions, specifically focusing on the deployment, enhancement, and ongoing management of the Palo Alto XSIAM platform for our enterprise clients. Your role will be vital in designing, implementing, and continuously refining XSIAM-based security solutions tailored to Fortune 1000 organizations. You will collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to create and deliver solutions aligned with industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST, helping clients achieve significant improvements in their security posture. This position is remote with a home office setup as decided by Stratascale Management. Role Description Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of Palo Alto Networks XSIAM across varied enterprise environments. Advise clients on best practices for log management, threat intelligence integration, and security automation using XSIAM. Engage with key stakeholders to ascertain business and security requirements and translate these into actionable XSIAM solutions. Develop and deliver technical workshops, training, and enablement content for both customers and internal teams. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in XSIAM and related technologies to ensure ongoing service improvement. Participate in developing security governance models and cross-practice initiatives to foster innovation and deliver value for clients. Skill Level Requirements Palo Alto XSIAM certification with practical experience in enterprise deployments. Strong knowledge of SIEM and SOAR platforms, including log ingestion, parsing, normalization, and advanced threat detection. Experience integrating XSIAM with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Familiarity with SOC workflows, incident response, and security automation methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences. Proven success in executing security engineering projects within large organizations. Entrepreneurial mindset capable of extracting value in complex settings. Experience in pre-sales activities, including client presentations and developing solution architectures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to various audiences, including C-suite executives. Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach to client engagement. Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate complex technical and business challenges. Experience delivering training and enablement sessions to internal teams and clients. Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving ability. Other Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience required. Palo Alto Networks XSIAM certification is strongly preferred. Advanced industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GCIA, GCIH, CCSP) are advantageous. 5+ years of experience delivering security engineering solutions in large enterprise environments. Proven expertise in SIEM and SOAR platforms, including hands-on experience with Palo Alto XSIAM and Cortex XSOAR. Strong understanding of SOC operations, incident response, threat detection, and security automation workflows. Experience integrating security solutions with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with industry security frameworks and standards (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.). Ability to travel as necessary for SHI, partner, and customer events (up to 25%). The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $153,900, which includes a base salary and bonus. Compensation is influenced by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, therefore it may vary for each individual.
