HCSS Shuttle Driver / Courier Services (Part Time)

Location: Galveston   SUMMARY: To provide for the routine operation and minor maintenance of university vehicles in the transportation of materials or passengers.   Major Duties / Critical Tasks   •Deliver and/or retrieves materials as instructed. •Assists in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicle. •Maintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumptions. •Inspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basis with regard to oil, fuel, tires and water. •Reports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors. •Adheres to internal controls established for departments   Part-time position - shifts can include a combination of days, evening, weekends, and holidays.This is a contract position through UTMB Healthcare Systems Staffing / HCSS (the in-house staffing agency for UTMB). No benefits are associated with this position, with the exception of the 401k retirement plan offered through HCSS.
