Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Senior Project Manager in Professional Services! You'll take the lead in delivering top-notch customer service while overseeing complex projects that span six months or longer. As a vital representative of Red River, your professionalism and responsiveness will shine through in every interaction. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for customers, managing daily project activities including planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution. Our goal is to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the complete lifecycle of multi-phase Professional Services projects, from inception to closeout, ensuring adherence to PMO standards and processes. Maintain alignment regarding scope, effort, schedule, costs, and deliverables throughout the project's lifespan, ensuring readiness prior to commencing work. Track project expenses, labor hours, and progress against budgets, proactively identifying any variances. Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to guarantee timely and accurate invoicing and financial reporting. Utilize our approved project management tools effectively to plan, track, forecast, and report on project delivery. Employ Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Copilot) for optimal planning, analysis, communication, and presentation of reports. Establish and maintain clear communication routines with customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to foster transparency and regular updates. Coordinate with fellow Project Managers to clarify project scopes, ensuring well-defined ownership and responsibilities. Make informed decisions about projects within the approved parameters, escalating potential issues promptly. Ensure all project documentation is thorough, precise, and audit-ready while also mentoring other Project Managers on best practices. Effectively manage expectations while closely tracking risks and benefits. Document project status, action items, and maintain current project documents efficiently. Create and deliver impactful presentations in a professional manner. Develop and uphold standard operating processes within the team. Maintain necessary industry certifications as required. Perform other assigned business duties as necessary. Success Criteria: Management support and consensus: Engage all stakeholders, particularly business leadership, to ensure alignment on project goals and success criteria. A strong plan: Develop a comprehensive project plan detailing roles and responsibilities to guide performance management and effective communication. Effective communication: Encourage multidirectional communication between the project team and stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned. Scope control: Manage project scope carefully to mitigate impacts on budget, schedule, and quality from changes in scope. Consistent methodology: Utilize lessons learned from previous projects to foster consistent practices in managing expectations and progress. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of project management experience or related fields. Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent experience. Familiarity with collaboration tools like Teams and WebEx. Proven success managing high-visibility projects and cross-functional teams. Experience with complex infrastructure and cloud projects. PMP Certification or Master's degree in Project Management. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designation. Additional relevant certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, or ITIL are a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expertise in SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio. Demonstrated creativity and independent thinking. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk mitigation. Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines with minimal supervision. Professional interaction with coworkers, clients, and vendors. Capacity for collaborative teamwork while thriving in independent settings. Special Requirements: This position is remote but requires up to 25% travel to customer sites for project support. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required.
