As a vital member of the pharmacy team, you'll help us achieve sales and profit goals, uphold quality assurance standards, and manage technician scheduling to meet business needs. In this role, you will: Fulfill customer prescription needs with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to enhance customer health. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA regulations. Maintain a professional image and uphold pharmacy standards in appearance and conduct. Develop in-depth knowledge of the local trade area, customers, and competitors. Foster a positive pharmacy image through excellent service and collaboration with customers and associates. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and adherence to company policies. Keep thorough records for controlled substances and ensure their security. Utilize accuracy tools effectively, including the accuracy scanner and auditing reports. Ensure all records and policies are compliant with legal requirements and maintain necessary documentation. Keep a clean and organized work area to present a professional image to customers. Timely handle product returns in accordance with company policy. Maintain all pharmacy equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Organize manuals, reference materials, and ensure staff knowledge of procedures. Display proper signage to inform customers about services and hours of operation. Engage in continuous learning to broaden your pharmacy knowledge and skills. This role requires performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing Able to handle stressful situations effectively Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction) Strong oral and written communication skills Desired: 1 year of retail pharmacy experience Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
