Job Summary: The Account Executive is a highly skilled enterprise software sales professional dedicated to delivering a comprehensive suite of software solutions designed for Government and Public Sector clients. This position demands excellent communication abilities, a deep understanding of executive-level sales within large organizations, and the ability to build and nurture established relationships. The ideal candidate will proactively engage and connect with customers on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities: Promote an innovative portfolio of software solutions aimed at modernizing and optimizing enterprise systems. Collaborate with Field Marketing teams to identify potential prospects and organize impactful events. Contribute to sales campaigns by partnering with Rocket's sales engineers, marketing, and lab teams. Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while building strong reference relationships. Aim for revenue goals and strategic objectives by enhancing the sales pipeline and developing robust territory plans. Leverage Salesforce to accurately maintain and forecast sales metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Work alongside management to negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms efficiently. Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders, shaping opportunities early in the sales process and driving sustainable growth. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of aligning our capabilities with customer needs and the competitive landscape. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in selling software solutions to Government or Public Sector clients. Proven adaptability with a strong commitment to integrity and ethical practices. Experience thriving in a high-performance sales culture. Strong problem-solving skills complemented by innovative thinking. Ability to articulate a strategic vision, influence key stakeholders, and manage resources effectively. Aspiration to exceed performance expectations and collaborate positively with Sales Management. Robust business acumen with experience engaging mid-sized clients across a diverse product portfolio. Possession of Federal clearance is a plus.
