Automotive Service Technician

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Store and Service Managers, performing essential car maintenance and repair tasks. You'll be responsible for inspecting vehicles, diagnosing issues, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Utilize your expertise in automotive repair to provide high-quality service. Conduct thorough inspections and accurately diagnose vehicle problems. Replace and repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance. Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and techniques. Foster positive relationships with customers through excellent service. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service or repair. ASE Certification is preferred but not required. Must own Technician Tools. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate vehicles. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and building trust. Willingness to work on Saturdays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for prolonged periods. Occasionally exert 50 - 100 lbs of force and frequently 10 - 25 lbs.
