The Sales Estimator for Division 10 (Bathroom Partitions & Grab Rails) and Division 12 (Blinds) plays a crucial role in our sales process by analyzing blueprints and project specifications to create comprehensive cost estimates. You will evaluate job costs, including labor, materials, and specialty items, ensuring our proposals are competitive and align with our company’s pricing strategies and profitability objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, materials, equipment, and labor. Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and stakeholders to develop tailored solutions for clients. Ensure timely submission of proposals that meet client specifications and deadlines. Articulate scope of work, pricing details, and value propositions to secure new business. Engage with vendors to acquire product information, lead times, availability, and specs. Participate in client entertainment events. Follow up with clients post-proposal to gather feedback and improve future estimates. Perform additional duties as directed. Requirements / Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the construction trade. Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task effectively. Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of costs. Excellent organizational skills with a methodical approach. Proficient in technology and computer applications.
