GCO Controls Monitoring & Testing Consultant II - Technology Issue Validation Join to apply for the GCO Controls Monitoring & Testing Consultant II - Technology Issue Validation role at Truist. Position Overview: Responsible for supporting Enterprise Issue Validation by identifying control failures and ensuring risk and compliance remediation. Support effective issue management, validation, risk assessments, change initiatives, and trend analysis to minimize enterprise losses. Remote Work: Telecommuting/Remote work may be considered for qualified candidates outside of the Truist footprint, supporting Eastern Standard Time hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute issue validation/testing, root cause analysis, and evaluate risk metrics to assess control effectiveness. Document validation activities thoroughly for review. Ensure testing aligns with remediation plans to address root causes and mitigate risks. Prepare analysis and reports on validation and remediation results. Recommend updates to controls, policies, procedures, and risk documentation; advise on control improvements. Discuss material issues with senior management, including root cause and corrective actions. Collaborate with Business Units and Risk Management to validate issues timely and accurately. Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent. Five years of experience in risk management, audit, operations, or related fields. Knowledge of risk principles, controls, and regulatory requirements. Project ownership and process improvement skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: Technical knowledge of software development, cloud, cybersecurity, data, or AI. Experience with ARCHER GRC Platform. Ability to adapt to change and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
