The MedServ Group is expanding, and we are in search of a skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care to our patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Position Highlights: Flexible Schedule: 1-2 patient visits monthly. Competitive Compensation: Earn $35.00 - $40.00 per patient or $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Comprehensive Support: We cover your medical malpractice insurance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient observations. Accurately document patients' medical histories and current symptoms. Develop and contribute to effective patient care plans. Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Utilize and monitor medical equipment effectively. Diagnose dermatological issues and communicate findings with on-call physicians. Administer medications and provide treatment protocols. Qualifications: Current CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License. Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or certified by a National Association. Experience in dermatology within a clinic, hospital, or nursing home setting. Possession of a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, or Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) specializing in Dermatology. Proven experience using diagnostic techniques for disease identification and treatment implementation. Strong management skills in a diverse healthcare environment. Excellent communication abilities, especially with elderly patients. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Current DEA license necessary. General Information: Average working hours: 7-8 hours per visitation plus required paperwork. Typical schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM. Expected patient load: 20-25 patients per visit.
