Your Role We are excited to introduce our new Product Counsel function at Teradata. This role is essential to guiding the development, launch, and ongoing management of innovative technology products. The Product Counsel team will ensure regulatory compliance, manage legal risks, and safeguard Teradata's intellectual property, all while fostering business growth and product excellence. As a Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating collaboration across teams, ensuring the Product Counsel function operates effectively while tracking commitments to deliver outstanding business partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Program, Process, and Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain operational processes and workflows for the Product Counsel function. Track legal reviews, escalations, approvals, and deliverables across product teams. Manage intake processes, SLAs, work queues, and cross-functional communications. Partner with Legal Ops to align on tooling and governance. Create templates, playbooks, and self-service resources. Product Development Lifecycle Integration: Integrate Product Counsel into product roadmapping and release cycles. Maintain oversight on product timelines that may require legal review. Coordinate timely legal engagement between engineering and product managers. Program Execution & Coordination: Identify emerging regulatory themes impacting product strategy with Product Counsel. Translate legal risks into scalable operational frameworks. Prepare decision materials for risk tradeoff discussions. Align product-level legal decisions with commercial execution. Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings and follow-ups. Serve as the liaison between Product Counsel and internal teams. Track cross-functional initiatives to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Metrics, Reporting, & Insights: Define and track KPIs for the Product Counsel function. Create dashboards and periodic reports for leadership. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements. Collaborative Environment: As a Program Manager for Product Counsel, you will bridge the law and product engineering teams, collaborating closely with product teams and other legal functions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Law, Chief Privacy, Ethics & Compliance Counsel, you will contribute to a healthy work-life balance and a supportive culture within our legal team. Your Qualifications: 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably in tech or legal environments. Experience in building and managing cross-functional programs. Strong understanding of product development and engineering workflows. Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent projects. Strong communication skills to work with legal and product teams. Familiarity with productivity tools like JIRA and Confluence. Pay Rate: 111800.0000 - 139800.0000 - 167700.0000 Annually Starting pay will depend on location, internal equity, and candidate experience. All roles are eligible for our annual incentive plans based on company performance.
