Your Day at Lowe's As a Sales Associate, you will greet customers and assist them in selecting the right plumbing products and services for their needs. Daily responsibilities will include engaging with customers, helping them find merchandise, and ensuring that every visitor receives outstanding service. While your primary focus will be on customer interaction, your tasks may vary depending on your department assignment, such as Plumbing or others. Key Responsibilities Greet customers, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer care. Assist customers in locating and managing plumbing merchandise. Restock items by identifying empty shelves and replenishing inventory. Accurately process orders and deliveries to ensure timely product availability. Cross-train in various store departments to enhance overall customer service. Prepare merchandise as per customer requests (e.g., mixing paint, cutting pipe, etc.). Guide customers through their shopping experience and checkout process. Handle additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience using computers for data entry and management. 6 months of experience with retail technology, including smartphones and tablets. Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and arithmetic functions. Capability to stand, sit, and perform various activities for extended periods. Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with appropriate assistance. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of retail or customer service experience. Bilingual skills are a plus. Certification in a relevant trade area (e.g., plumbing or electrical).
