You will utilize box and flat-bed trucks to ensure that deliveries are complete, safe, and timely. Your performance will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction while safely transporting items. Key Responsibilities: Prepare all deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently. Load customer orders properly onto the truck. Complete all necessary forms for deliveries. Transport and deliver items safely and within time schedules. Maintain the store vehicle and notify supervisors of maintenance needs. Provide outstanding customer service and address customer questions and complaints. Adhere to all transportation laws and maintain a clean driving record. Prepare and manage delivery reports and other required documentation. Operate various equipment including trucks and forklifts. Assist with in-store duties such as mixing orders and customer assistance. Minimum Requirements: At least 21 years of age. Legally authorized to work in this country without sponsorship. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT licensed medical examiner, or willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional job offer. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Flexibility to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Proficient in English to communicate with the public, comprehend traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience as a delivery driver. Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Prior sales experience in paint and related products. Bilingual communication skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus.
