Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist is dedicated to safeguarding the company’s assets by preventing theft and fraud while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations in assigned locations. This role involves utilizing various tools to reduce financial losses, including detecting incidents of theft, analyzing CCTV footage and exception reports, monitoring physical security measures, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems, and fostering a culture focused on reducing shrink. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries. Preserve all evidence and collaborate with law enforcement as necessary. Testify in criminal and civil court actions when required. Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty. Execute responsibilities in a way that minimizes the risk of injury to all associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Maintain integrity, respond to asset protection and operational inquiries from associates, and stay focused on specific business objectives. This position is based in Pelham, AL.
