Our Commercial Real Estate Property Tax Services practice is seeking to hire a Vice President to work on tax consulting and valuation projects.Note this position can be based in any of the following locations: Miami, Atlanta.Day-to-day ResponsibilitiesPerforming in-depth client, industry, and legislative researchAnalyzing financial and market dataDevelopment of presentations, proposals, and publicationsDevelopment of market value opinions using traditional real estate valuation methods including the cost approach, the income approach, and the sales comparison approachPreparing financial models and analyses for the income approach, sales comparison approach and cost approach valuation methodsPreparing and filing administrative appeals and refund claimsAttending and presenting materials at tax hearingsPreparation of project status reports for clientsTracking refunds and assisting with preparation of client invoicesPreparation of tax projection scenarios for pre- and post-acquisition due diligenceAssist with Development of staffLeading projects as neededEssential TraitsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Real Estate or similarly related fieldMinimum 4 years of property tax or commercial real estate related experienceCMI, CPA, CFA, MAI or other similar accreditation desiredProficient in Excel, Word and PowerPointStrong analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong personal integrityAbility to travel as necessaryPrior experience in a property tax capacity is desiredBenefits Our recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident pensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
