Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,892 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical/Oncology – North Carolina Start Date: March 30, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, 13-26 week contract Highlights: Medical Surgical unit with Oncology patient population; daily census of 42 beds 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with experience administering chemotherapy and biotherapy Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and 24-hour orientation Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, lift teams, rapid response, and phlebotomy Float opportunities to similar units and alternate care locations as needed First-time travelers accepted; locals welcome Requirements: Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license Minimum 2 years of acute care Med/Surg experience required Current BLS certification Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS/ONCC) required – must be comfortable administering chemotherapy Experience with colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line management, PICC lines, chest tubes, wound care, and isolation precautions Proficiency with heparin and insulin drips, surgical drains, and non-invasive airway management Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Med/Surg nurses passionate about oncology care to make a meaningful impact on patients navigating complex medical and cancer diagnoses.
