Job Summary: Amazon is a leading company in the advertising and e-commerce space, and they are seeking a Software Development Engineer for their Sponsored Brands Advertising team. The role involves developing scalable services for processing ad requests and collaborating with various teams to enhance brand shopping experiences using advanced technologies. Responsibilities: • Develop highly scalable service to process millions of requests per day • Solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology like LLMs • Partner with various engineering and business teams to design, implement and launch personalized ad experiences • Use latest technologies used in search / advertising / E-commerce platforms • Work along with senior and PEs, learn, and grow while making a positive impact on millions of customers. Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience • Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred: • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations • Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques Company: Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
