About Our Hospital Located in a thriving new development in Folsom, CA Opened June 10, 2024 – state-of-the-art 7,800 sq ft facility 12 exam rooms, fully equipped surgical and dental suites, and a serene client lounge Purpose-built layout designed by professionals for professionals Modern equipment, ample parking, and a truly unique veterinary environment The Role: Veterinary Pharmacy Technician We are seeking a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician who is highly organized, reliable, and compassionate. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our medical team by managing the daily operations of the pharmacy while providing excellent care to our patients and support to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Accurately fill and label prescriptions under veterinarian supervision Maintain accurate records of medications and controlled substances Ensure proper inventory management and ordering of pharmacy supplies Educate clients on medication administration and answer basic pharmacy-related questions Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and receptionists to ensure timely patient care Maintain cleanliness and compliance with veterinary pharmacy regulations Assist in patient care duties as needed during peak times What We’re Looking For: Previous veterinary experience is required Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently Calm, focused, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment Professional, respectful, and friendly demeanor with clients and team members Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings Professional appearance and conduct at all times Benefits Include: 401(k) & 401(k) matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Flexible scheduling Professional development assistance Schedule: 10-hour shifts One regular weekend day In-person only Ready to Join Our Team?
