Busy Practice: With a robust referral base from within the PIH Health system, you can expect a high patient volume, typically seeing 18 to 20 patients per day. Specialized Team : Collaborate closely with a dedicated Diabetes Management Team based at the hospital, as well as access to a network of specialty surgeons within PIH Health. This multidisciplinary support ensures comprehensive care for complex endocrine and metabolic conditions. In addition, nearby communities throughout Los Angeles County and North Orange County offer many reputable neighborhoods and highly rated schools, giving you flexibility to find the lifestyle and community that best fits your needs. ️⛰️ Position Summary: The Endocrinology Physician coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of glandular and metabolic imbalances while working with an inter-disciplinary team of nurses, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, pathologists and pharmacists. The Endocrinology Physician will act as an expert in endocrine disease management and prevention. Required Skills: Demonstrated expertise in endocrine diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding an Endocrinology Physician scope of practice. Demonstrated experience with obesity and metabolic syndrome in a clinic setting preferred. Fellow or certification from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities. Independent performer. Experience: Graduate from an accredited Medical School Graduate form an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program Graduate from an accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program.
