Snapshot of Your Day:We are looking for a SeniorOccupational Safety Expert and EHS Manager In Project in Orlando, FL to utilize knowledge of Siemens Energy's internal Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures, standards and rules, as well as Zero Harm Program to support the business throughout various phases of projects to ensure compliance with applicable internal and external rules and regulations to prevent EHS related hazards and risks.How You'll Make an Impact: Supportproject and site management in planning, implementing and monitoring EHSprocedures and rules. Reporton relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuousimprovement. EstablishEHS management systems for projects that meet internal, customer,regulatory, and business needs. IdentifyEHS-related statutory and customer requirements, rules and regulations andEHS aspects. Performrisk assessments and define mitigation measures. Supportthe Project Manager (PM) to ensure that required EHS-related permits,authorizations, and certificates are available. Provideguidance and support to the EHS team on site. Implement training conceptsthat fulfill EHS related training requirements. Ensurerisk assessments are carried out to the highest standards and review EHSdocumentation provided by contractors. Liaisewith customer/contractor EHS representatives on project execution andonsite EHS issues. Provideregular EHS reports to the project/site manager to ensure full operationaltransparency. Ensureall incidents are investigated and recorded and appropriate measures aredefined, implemented, and monitored. 30%domestic and international travel required. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Engineering,Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field and 8 yearsof experience. Will also accept Master and 5 years of experience. Experience must include 5 years in: incidentinvestigation and root cause analysis methodology; Implementing EHS procedures, standards, and Zero HarmProgram; EHS procedures, rules, and methodologies; Knowledge of power generation and energy transmissionequipment; Define mitigation measures to prevent EHS-relatedhazards; Managing and executing complex, large-scale energyprojects; and EHS audits in line with ISO45001 & ISO14001. 30% domestic and international travel required.
