Receptionist / Legal Assistant Location: Dallas, TX Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Fully Onsite Compensation: $40,000-$50,000 + Discretionary Year?End Bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k), Free Covered Parking, 10 PTO Days (Year 1) Language: Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred (+++) Must love tiny dogs! About the Role As the firm's first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, calm, and supportive atmosphere. You'll engage with clients who may be dealing with sensitive or high?severity matters, so professionalism, empathy, and exceptional communication are key. Key Responsibilities: Manage a busy 8-line phone system, routing calls with courtesy and accuracy. Warmly greet clients and visitors, escorting them to meetings and ensuring a polished hospitality experience. Maintain the reception and lobby areas to a high standard. Handle daily administrative duties: scanning, copying, mail management, ordering office supplies, etc. Coordinate and occasionally pick up catered lunches. Support attorneys and staff with Outlook calendar management. Arrange travel and reservations (experience is a +++). Perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs). Provide overflow support to legal assistants as needed. Qualifications 1-2 years law firm receptionist experience required. Exceptionally polished, courteous, and professional demeanor. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage high call volume with ease. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook scheduling. Bilingual Spanish preferred (+++). Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast?paced legal environment. Must love and tolerate dogs-this office is canine-friendly!
