Job Description Lead, develop, and optimize the STP systems. Collaborate with IT to support the development and optimization of key procurement technology applications. Lead the catalog enablement efforts across all spend categories with the goal of increasing the use of catalog to drive buying channel compliance and efficiencies. Responsibilities Procurement Technology Management Develop relationships with key stakeholders, system owners to understand how they use the systems to conduct daily transactional activities Strategize and lead optimization projects to improve the efficiency and value that procurement technology solutions/systems can provide to the organization and Kroger Create standard procedures to optimize technology and resolve issues for procurement systems Manage systems and projects to achieve sourcing goals in accordance with Kroger's policies and practices Engage IT resources for enhancement or developmental requests Maintain deep technical knowledge of the systems and impact on the overall IT landscape Define and implement a roadmap to meet the organization's system and data management goals and objectives Catalog Management Develop a comprehensive approach to determine optimal catalog use through collaboration with the category management team, best practices, and analysis of spending patterns Coordinate with the category management team to proactively define which categories to move towards catalog purchasing and execute plans designed to achieve business goals Coordinate with category management team and 3rd party suppliers to create, update and maintain catalog Drive compliance and efficiencies in the purchasing process via catalog Coordinate with contract management team to analyze contract compliance and update terms Talent Management Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties: complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, communicating of clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing performance, providing on the job coaching Additional Support Maintain knowledge of other initiatives in Kroger that may affect the CoE performance and operations Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications MINIMUM Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Management, Technology, Retail, CPG, or similar 3+ years of leadership/management experience with large complex organizations 3+ years of experience with eSourcing, catalog implementation and management Proven experience with procurement technology, STP platforms, transactional activities and catalog enablement Understand software license agreements, implementation contracts and maintenance and service agreements (MSA's) and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Vizio) Ability to synthesize analysis into compelling oral and written communications and presentations DESIRED Master's Degree 1 year of experience in a data organization, clearly exposed and performing tasks within different data governance aspects About Us From one tiny Cincinnati grocery store more than a century ago, we've grown into what today is the nation's largest grocer with nearly 2,800 stores in 35 states operating under 28 different names.
