JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing a variety of semiskilled and skilled task that includes HVAC, carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry and electrical. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures proper completion of work orders and work requests. • Conduct regular inspections, tests, checks, and verifications of equipment condition and performance. • Repair dry wall, paint and perform electrical repairs. • Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs lighting systems and lighting fixtures. • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on Passenger Boarding Bridges, bag lifts, 400hz, 28V, PLC. • Troubleshoot commercial overhead doors. • Assists with HVAC maintenance repairs. • Maintains and repairs restroom facilities, plumbing fixtures, water coolers, and system piping. • Troubleshoots and repairs electrical wiring & all related components. • Reports any unsafe conditions or accidents to the facilities supervisor. • Snake main drain lines and run camera inspections. • Assist other trades with various task such as air filter changes, plumbing, electrical etc. • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on emergency generators. • Operates all snow removal equipment and perform snow & ice control duties as required. • Supports RLAD's commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Attitude. • This list is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position. SHIFT Mon - Friday 12PM - 8PM REQUIRED SKILLS • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written. • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective and professional working relationships with others. • Must have knowledge of the tools and methods of the trade. • Knowledge of lock out-tag out procedures for safeguarding employees from hazards. • Skill in identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. • Shows creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas and solutions for work related problems. • Experience with essential computer programs, including Excel, Office, Teams, and Word. • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret building diagrams and technical procedures. • Ability to effectively work independently or within a team environment. • Ability to work around 480 and higher voltages. • Ability to work rotating shifts, which may include days, afternoons, graveyards, weekends, and holidays. QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Highschool Diploma or GED • 2 years of experience in commercial building maintenance • Ability to pass TSA/Security Background check. • Current Driver License. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Associate degree in electrical engineering or closely related field • 3 years of experience commercial building maintenance PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS Work is performed in both office and outdoor environments, and involves exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions. Must have sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices, to decipher radio communications, hear alarms, other warning signals, and vehicle signals indicating backward or forward motion. Must be able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels and must be able to work in close proximity to 480-volt power sources.
