As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeResponsible for assisting with direct resident care under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).Responsibilities Performs assigned patient care activities and assists nursing team. Observes residents for psychiatric stability, assists residents in meeting their established goals, and coordinates with community support staff and residential services team. Helps residents maintain and improve their housing skills by assisting in meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning. Documents care provided as outlined by clinical supervisors.
