City/State: Saint Louis, MissouriCategories: Clinical Services and SupportJob Status: Full-TimeReq ID : 105744Pay Range: $17.25 - $22.33 / hour (Salary or hourly rate is based on job qualifications and relevant work experience)Additional Information About the Role Residential Facility Location: Overland - 2443 Prouhet Ave, St. Louis, MO 63114 FT Shift Details: 3 PM - 11:30 PM (2-week Shift Schedule - (Su ,M, Tu, Wed, F, week 1) and (M, T, W, Th, Sat week 2) = 40 hours per week Supporting clients 13-15 residents in the facility Job duties: Medication Administration, meal prep, assist residents with independent living skills based off treatment plans, checking vitals, documentation, drug screens, Room checks, light cleaning Must be comfortable working independently Level 1 Med Tech - strongly preferred CNA or DSP experience - strongly preferred FT Benefits Available OverviewBJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeResponsible for assisting with direct resident care under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).Responsibilities Performs assigned patient care activities and assists nursing team. Observes residents for psychiatric stability, assists residents in meeting their established goals, and coordinates with community support staff and residential services team. Helps residents maintain and improve their housing skills by assisting in meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning. Documents care provided as outlined by clinical supervisors.
