Cyber Security Engineer - Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer - Senior to join their team. As a Cyber Security Engineer - Senior, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting cybersecurity initiatives and threat mitigation efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer - SeniorLocation: Southlake, TX (On-site)What's the Job? Implement and manage security solutions, including Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access, ensuring robust protection of organizational assets. Monitor emerging security threats and develop detection mechanisms to safeguard systems and data. Troubleshoot security issues efficiently, providing timely resolutions and maintaining high client confidence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain and support security infrastructure such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools. What's Needed? 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on expertise in Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with Docker technologies and Kubernetes. Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and penetration testing. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field. What's in it for me?
