CVOR RN in Marietta, GA

A specialized registered nurse with Cardiac OR experience is needed for a critical role supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures. This contract assignment is based in Marietta, GA, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts (06:45 AM to 5:00 PM), providing one day off each week. Candidates should be prepared to participate in call rotations as part of the role. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current and active Georgia nursing license or compact license Proven experience as a CVOR RN with strong cardiac operating room skills BLS and PALS certifications required Pediatric experience is highly desirable Ability to comply with rigorous health and safety protocols, including a drug screen and nicotine-free policy Must receive flu vaccination as required by facility policy (no exemptions accepted) Responsibilities: Provide top-tier perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Maintain adherence to all clinical standards, policies, and infection control practices Participate in call duties to support emergent cardiac cases as needed Location Insight: Marietta, GA is a vibrant city blending historic charm with modern amenities.
