About the RoleThe Senior Project Management Director leads department-relatedmanagement services for our multiuse facility client account to achieve thecompany's strategic business objectives. The Sr. PM Director will ensure globalproject delivery of projects including PMO, cost management, procurement, andvendor management. This role also supports our client's global strategy,mitigation of risk, and collaboration with the broader account team(FM/Engineering/Transactions).This job is part of the Project Management function responsiblefor the management of projects from initiation through completion. Projectsconsist of both ground up and facility infrastructure construction projects.Role requires 20%-40% national/global travel.What You'll DoProvide formal supervision toemployees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performanceevaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.Coordinate and manage theteam's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.Direct all phases of theprocess for large and high-profile clients including procurement, contracting,planning, tracking, and execution.Ensure that contractprocurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts areaccurate, timely, and compliant.Develop new business growthand maintain existing business relationships.Maintain full responsibilityfor the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts.Identify complex projectrisks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.Apply deep knowledge ofmultiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness. Drivefinancial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service,Excellence) values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and externalparties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importancewhile being guided by the business segment and the organization's functionalstrategy.Conceptualize new methods,techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.Direct the resolution ofhighly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced criticalthinking.What You'll NeedApplicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. Experience leading global project delivery including PMO, cost management, procurement, and vendor management. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience in Kahua or similar project management software and D365 or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles and the ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle issues as they arise. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. The minimum salary for this position is $175,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $235,000 annually.
