Salary Range: $75,000-$82,000 Remote/Travel: This position requires travel up to 60% of the time. Travel is primarily via air travel from employee's home to dealer locations throughout the United States. Provides excellent opportunity to engage directly with clients and partners outside the regular office environment. Hours will vary on travel days based on need. Preferred location for home base includes close proximity to a major airport to allow for efficient air travel to dealers. To assist in minimizing travel and align with client accounts, the Company is open to hiring candidates located in CO, ID, NM, NV, WA, OR, or UT.Benefits: 401(k) 5% match (1:1) Medical, dental, and vision insurance; premiums we pay 100% for employee and family HSA contribution for qualifying plans Unlimited Paid time off and 11 observed holidays Laptop and related hardware required provided Job Summary: The Safety Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting both the Sales and Client Success teams, specifically focusing on the Safety product. This specialist leverages their in-depth understanding of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and EHS guidelines to help automotive dealers rectify safety violations and utilizes this expertise to aid the sales team in acquiring new clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Own the post-sale customer relationship for assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact from onboarding through renewal. Lead remote software onboarding: kickoff, configuration guidance, user training, and go-live support to drive fast time-to-value. Conduct onsite chemical and equipment inspections to verify compliance, safe storage/handling, labeling, and operational readiness. Perform facility safety walkthroughs to identify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions aligned to customer requirements and applicable standards. Produce clear inspection deliverables (notes, photos, issue logs, and action plans) and track remediation progress to closure. Translate field observations into product workflows-ensuring customer accounts accurately reflect site conditions, assets, and safety requirements. Proactively manage account health using product usage signals, stakeholder check-ins, and adoption plans to reduce churn risk. Coordinate with customer stakeholders to set goals, align on timelines, and prioritize safety initiatives. Partner with Sales on renewals and expansions by identifying value realized, documenting outcomes, and surfacing growth opportunities. Serve as the voice of the customer internally-sharing trends, feature requests, and recurring pain points with Product and Engineering.Resolve customer issues by triaging tickets, coordinating internal resources, and communicating status and next steps with urgency. Maintain accurate account documentation (site profiles, inspection history, training records, contacts, and success plans). Build and deliver customer-facing reporting (inspection summaries, adoption metrics, and executive readouts) that demonstrates ROI. Ensure consistent, professional onsite/virtual presence: schedule visits, follow site access/safety requirements, and represent the company well. Contribute to standard operating procedures for inspections, onboarding, and ongoing success motions. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes relevant to car dealerships as directed by the Client Success Director. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field; four years OSHA/EHS work experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: ASP/GSP/CSP or equivalent certification preferred Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record Ability to travel, primarily air travel, up to 60% Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Hubspot or similar CRM tools preferred Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client issues and develop effective solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders and people at all management and support levels, within and outside the organization.
