Job Description Work Request 110592 Material Specialist 1 Bell Crossing Road CSX Locomotive Shop Selkirk, NY 12158-2131 Length: 6 months Maximum hourly pay rate $16/hour New York is a high work comp State; therefore the mark-up is higher than the normal 34.6% light industrial rate. For New York the mark-up will be 46.6% overall to GE. Please ensure you include a detailed bio in the Supplier Comment Field on how/why your candidate meets the job requirements when submitting into Beeline Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or GED Steel toed Shoes Materials background Computer Literate Hours: Will normally work: (40 hour work week) Wednesday: 10 pm 6am Thursday: 8pm 6am Friday: 8pm 6am Saturday: 6pm 6am Description: Material clerk available for receiving, issuing, researching, and pulling parts. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, drive large flatbed truck, and forklift. Clerk will also learn the core return process and be responsible for returning dirty cores to repair facilities. Clerk will learn to run various reports and will be responsible for ensuring specific daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are correctly completed on time. Must be familiar with computers and be able to use Internet Explorer and basic skills in Microsoft Office. Must wear steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hard hat. This is a non-smoking facility.
