Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client, an electronics contract manufacturer, in their search for a Purchasing Buyer-Planner iin Leominster MA to drive purchasing and material planning activities within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. Starting Pay: $30 per hour based on experience Schedule: Onsite, Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm Position Type: Temp to perm with long-term career opportunity Key Responsibilities Lead purchasing and procurement of raw materials, electronic components, MRO, tooling, and services to support manufacturing operations Analyze MRP requirements and place purchase orders to ensure material availability aligned with production schedules Manage supplier pricing, quotations, lead times, and order execution Monitor and maintain inventory levels and safety stock to meet business and production plans Coordinate delivery schedules and expedite materials to meet manufacturing demand Support supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation Drive cost-reduction initiatives and purchasing efficiencies Resolve supplier quality or delivery issues, including defective materials and debit memos Ensure compliance with ISO-9001 quality standards and purchasing procedures Qualifications 35+ years of purchasing or materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control, and production support purchasing Experience purchasing electronic or technical components is a strong plus Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office APICS certification a plus Why Join Direct impact on manufacturing performance and supply chain reliability Collaborative production and supply chain environment Opportunity to drive supplier and cost improvements Stable manufacturing organization with growth potential
