RN Triage Nurse Lead - Huntington Valley, PA Position: RN Triage Nurse Lead Location: Huntingdon Valley, PA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $39-$40 per hour Job Summary The RN Triage Nurse Lead is responsible for providing clinical assessment and triage services for patients while supervising and supporting the triage team. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compassionate patient care, while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and organizational standards. The Lead Nurse serves as a mentor and resource for other triage staff, promoting efficiency, quality, and safety in patient interactions. Key Responsibilities Patient Triage & Assessment: Conduct phone and electronic triage to assess patient symptoms and urgency. Determine appropriate level of care and follow-up per established protocols. Provide patient education and guidance for symptom management. Documentation & Communication: Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Communicate effectively with providers, clinicians, and staff regarding patient needs. Qualifications Active RN license in Pennsylvania. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; triage and/or leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
