Overview As a Registered Nurse in our Psychiatric unit, you will be at the forefront of mental health advocacy and treatment. Required Skills Valid and active RN license in applicable state Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, medications, and treatment protocols Excellent communication, empathetic listening, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and composure Proficient in documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations Nice to Have Skills Experience working with diverse populations or in acute psychiatric settings BLS/ACLS certification Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches Bilingual abilities Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred Prior experience in inpatient psychiatric units or mental health facilities Other Requirements Availability to work a shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week with a 22-bed unit (Unit B2) currently managing 12 patients with capacity for up to 22 beds Willingness to participate in ongoing training and team development Valid certifications in CPR, crisis intervention, or related areas preferred We are seeking compassionate, skilled professionals eager to make a difference in mental health care.
