In this unique and enriching environment, we offer Independent and Assisted Living apartment homes, as well as a skilled Health Center where we provide our residents with quality care and services. We are looking for a FT Porter to join our team! Available Schedule: M, T, TH, Fr 2p -10p; Sa 7a -3p Hourly Wage Range $17 -$18.25 As a Meadow Ridge Porter, your main role will be to maintain a community that is safe and clean for residents, associates, and visitors. The Porter is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas and others as observed through the economical use of supplies and the proper care and usage of equipment, maintaining quality standards of performance. The Porter is also responsible for acting in a courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents. Responsibilities Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, and cleans other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor. Breakrooms: wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floor Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges. Washing and buffing floors. Empties and rinses (if necessary) wastebaskets. Washes inside of windows as needed. Takes care of apartment and health center discharge rooms. RequirementsExperience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train. Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.
