Local Shuttle Driver - CDL A

Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver (Local Home Daily) Location: Des Moines, IA Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class A Driver based out of our Des Moines BranchWe are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We are committed to attracting a team that is passionate, innovative, and committed to meeting our customer's needs. We are seeking a Shuttle Driver to primarily support second shift operations. This role's primary responsibility is transporting product between Produce Innovations (PI) and our Des Moines (DSM) location, with occasional pickups and drop-offs from local vendors as needed. This position plays an important role in keeping product moving efficiently between facilities to support production and distribution needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible. We are looking for someone who can also assist with branch-to-branch shuttles and provide coverage as needed. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines Transport product between Produce Innovations and the Des Moines facility to support production and warehouse operations Complete vendor pickups and drop-offs as needed Assist with branch-to-branch shuttle routes and provide coverage when operational needs arise (call-outs, PTO, etc.) Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
