Job Title: Sr. HR Associate Payroll & HR Operations Job ID: 26-00978 Location: Houston, TX (Onsite - Office Setting) Duration: 06 months on W2 contract Summary: Seeking a professional, senior-level HR Associate to support payroll readiness and compliance. This role serves as the SME for pre-payroll validation, payroll-impacting HR data, and tax-related escalations in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead pre-payroll validation and readiness checks Identify payroll/tax risks and resolve issues prior to payroll execution Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Tax, and CI teams Manage complex payroll-impacting changes (retro, multi-state, etc.) Support audits and improve pre-payroll processes Coach Tier 1/Tier 2 team members Requirements: 4-7+ years in HR Operations, Payroll, or HRIS Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax implications Experience with Oracle HCM, UKG, ADP; Intermediate Excel Agile mindset; able to work independently with minimal supervision Prior experience in large organizations (10,000+ employees), preferably Oil & Gas, Energy, or Manufacturing Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ideal for a self-starter with leadership experience in HR Shared Services or payroll environments.
