Our client is one of the nations leading electronics manufacturers. Their focus is creating buttons levers and switches that are used across various industries. They have a small team of 35 employees located on the Fairfield, New Haven county line. They offer competitive pay, great benefits, and an excellent work environment. They are seeking a Production Assembler to join their team. Selling Points: Growing company with an excellent reputation. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce assemblies and Specmods from standard component products. Position or align components for assembly. Verify parts and quantities for assembly. Rework, repair, or replace incorrect or damaged parts or assemblies. Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts and subassemblies together. Engrave and fill lens caps as needed. Maintain packaging supplies and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low. Support Shipping & Receiving personnel with stock & warehouse activities as needed. Perform duties in compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times. Must maintain standards of professionalism and Code of Conduct at all times. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following capabilities: Education and/or Experience: Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED. Prior assembly experience is a plus. Able to understand "Specmod" instruction sheets, assembly drawings, work instructions, schematics and procedures. Required to read, speak, write, and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions. Required to have adequate communication (written and verbal) skills. Required to have basic computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office applications - Word nd Excel preferred. Required to have excellent organizational skills. Pay: Up to $18/hour #IND-Client
