We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Physical TherapistAssistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. ThePTA provides rehab and therapy services under the supervision of PhysicalTherapists and the Director of Rehab. Qualifications: Ability to present a positive attitude, and carryout respectful relationships and communication with residents, peer staff,families, guests, and vendors. • Have a clear and active Physical TherapistAssistant license with the State of Florida. • Have a valid CPR certification. • Have a clear level II background screen. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. • Ability to lift 60-70lbs frequently. • Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand,sit, push/pull) intermittently throughout the workday. • Ability to speak and write in English. • Knowledgeable of therapy practices and procedures,as well as state and federal regulations specific to therapy. • Other qualifications as outlined in the JobDescription. Responsibilities: • Treat residents as directed by the PhysicalTherapists and plans of care. • Record clinical documentation and dailytreatment changes. • Communicate with team members and providersregarding resident progress, problems and plans. • Routinely verify department equipment is in cleanand working order.
