Shuttle Driver, Visions Clubhouse | Part-Time

What we're looking for: We are seeking a compassionate and understanding individual, on a part-time basis, to provide transportation to the people we serve for our Visions Clubhouse located in Pontiac. The individual in this role transports persons served to various locations throughout the day in addition to other driving duties, clerical, and office duties. What's in it for me: Pay scale for the role is up to $20.00 per hour. Final rate is determined by non-discriminatory factors following interview. Reviews daily schedule and makes proper adjustments to accommodate additions and deletions. Drives to and arrives at destinations as scheduled. Contacts consumer and agency in the event of a delay through the use of a cell phone with the adjust time of arrival Maintains a helpful and courteous attitude when interacting with consumers, visitors, and agency personnel Adheres to the posted speed limits and all State of Michigan laws that apply to motor vehicle Assists clients in and out of van. Maneuvers wheelchairs on and off the van lift Maintains and checks the fluid/gasoline levels in all vehicles Maintains a clean appearance of assigned vehicles Provides weekly reports to the department supervisor Performs miscellaneous clerical, kitchen, and other clubhouse duties as assigned when not driving Qualifications:Required High school diploma or GED Valid and unrestricted Driver's License or CDL Transportation or Automobile accessibility with current auto insurance 1 year of experience providing transportation services Computer literacy including Excel and Word No more than one moving violation within the 12 months No operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated or impaired by consumption due to alcohol or illegal drugs within the past 8 years No suspended, revoked, or expired license within the past 5 years No more than 3 points on current driving record About CNS Healthcare: CNS Healthcare (CNS) is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) with seven clinics and two clubhouses in Southeastern Michigan.
