Position Overview The Project Consultant plays a critical role in supporting construction project oversight through data analysis, site evaluations, and detailed reporting. This role is responsible for monitoring project progress against submitted documentation, identifying risks or variances, and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires consistent travel to active project sites in various locations to validate reported progress, assess alignment with submitted documentation, and engage directly with project management teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in the field on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities Project Monitoring & Reporting Review and analyze project management submissions, including schedules, progress reports, and cost updates. Monitor project milestones, phasing, and construction execution progress. Identify inconsistencies, risks, or potential delays and communicate findings clearly. Prepare detailed site visit and project observation reports for stakeholders. Deliver monthly project status updates within the first week following month-end. Site Engagement & Field Assessments Consistently travel to active project sites (multi-location) as part of core job responsibilities. Conduct in-person meetings with project management teams to review documentation and clarify data. Validate reported progress through field observation. Evaluate construction sequencing and execution against planned schedules. Ask informed, inquisitive questions to ensure transparency and reporting accuracy. Qualifications Required 15 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, project controls, engineering support, or related field. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Willingness and ability to travel consistently to project sites as required.
