About the Company We are a boutique, high-end events company based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in destination weddings, private affairs, and bespoke celebrations from grand-scale luxury gatherings to intimate, curated occasions. The Role We are seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Design Director to co-lead the creative direction of our events. This is a pivotal, senior role within our tight-knit team the person who shapes the aesthetic identity of everything we produce. You will be a driving creative force behind transforming client visions into breathtaking, fully realized environments. Our events take place across domestic and international destinations, but this position will not require travel. It does require to work in the office Monday Friday in West Hollywood, as well as some evening and weekend work. This is not a traditional designer role. We are looking for a designer at heart someone whose instincts are rooted in fashion, interior design, architecture, or the fine arts who can translate this to our events. Versatility in design is an important element, as all of our clients are different. Position involves high paced deadlines and working on multiple designs at a time. What Youll Do Develop comprehensive design concepts working with a co-Design Director and owner of the company from initial mood boards and sketches to completed design decks. Create detailed design presentations using InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, CAD, and other relevant tools Source and curate materials, textiles, furniture, lighting, floral, and dcor elements that align with each event's concept Stay ahead of trends in fashion, interior design, architecture, and the broader luxury lifestyle space to continually push creative boundaries Contribute to the company's overall creative identity and brand aesthetic Required A background rooted in fashion design, architecture, interior design, fine arts, or a closely related creative field A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetic sensibility and design range Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and CAD or similar drafting tools Proficiency in google slides for presentations Experience designing environments, spaces, or experiential installations whether in events, retail, hospitality, or interiors A collaborative, team-first mindset this role is central to our company culture and success Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines Highly Desirable Direct experience in luxury events or interior design Knowledge of florals Familiarity with textiles, furniture, lighting, and prop sourcing within the luxury market What We Offer The opportunity to do the most creative work of your career for a design-forward clientele Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience If you are a creative visionary who believes events should be art we want to hear from you.
