About The Role We are looking for a Buyer to join our merchandising team. In this role, you will take full ownership of product development and sourcing, from initial concept to launch and post-launch performance. You will work cross-functionally with planning and e-commerce teams while managing supplier relationships and staying ahead of market trends. What You Will Do Drive sales, margin goals, and inventory targets through strategic buying decisions Lead new product development, including proprietary and brand-exclusive products Negotiate and maintain ongoing supplier agreements on cost, quality, and terms Ensure product packaging integrity and a strong customer experience Monitor and respond to return and quality issues Analyze post-launch performance and initiate improvements Communicate accurate product specifications to internal partners, including compliance with Prop 65, FDA, CPSC, and other regulatory requirements Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer buying habits Attend domestic and international trade shows and conduct supplier visits Partner with planning and e-commerce teams to manage inventory and SKU levels Meet all established merchandising procedures and timelines This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA What We Require Bachelor's degree is a must have 35 years of recent and relevant experience in retail or direct marketing Willingness and ability to travel approximately 1520% of the time Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook (PivotTable skills a plus) E-commerce experience preferred Skills And Abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and diligence Solid product development and sourcing experience Strong negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision Customer-focused with a curious and creative mindset Collaborative team player Career-minded and motivated to grow Other Information This is an office-based position with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
