Job Details Catholic Health is seeking a Senior Financial Decision Support Analyst to manage the integrity and analysis of our financial and clinical data. This is not a general data role; it is a specialized finance position focused on cost accounting, RVU maintenance, and net revenue maximization. You will be the primary administrator for the Strata Decision Support system, ensuring that the data used for managed care negotiations and feasibility studies is accurate, audited, and actionable. Key Responsibilities Systems Administration: Perform critical maintenance within the Strata Decision Support system, including updating RVUs, adding new cost centers, managing job codes, and configuring interface logic. Data Validation & Audit: Lead the standard monthly processing and audit validation of clinical and financial data from host systems into Strata to ensure a "single source of truth" for management. Cost Accounting & Analysis: Allocate general ledger and payroll system data to charge code revenue; review cost structures against charges to maximize third-party reimbursements. Strategic Support: Provide precise cost data to support Managed Care contract negotiations and assist in the preparation of feasibility studies for new hospital initiatives. Implementation: Support the technical installation and configuration of new entities onto the Strata platform. Management Reporting: Generate statistical and cost reports for hospital leadership, translating complex data into clear financial insights for decision-making. Position Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Technical Skills & Experience: Experience: 23 years of analytical experience specifically within Healthcare Finance or Hospital Cost Accounting. Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Strata (Costing, Allocations, and Reports) is highly preferred. Must be an expert in Excel and database administration. Financial Logic: Deep understanding of RVUs (Relative Value Units), General Ledger structures, and payroll-to-revenue interface logic. Communication: Ability to present financial findings to non-financial hospital management and stakeholders. Posted Salary Range USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
